CPD training

IPL/Lasers

training will cover skills to identify clients suitable for intense light and laser system treatments and formulate a specific course treatment plan to suit the individual client needs. You will also learn to treat a multitude of skin conditions including
fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, sun spots and freckles, sun damaged skin, acne scars, pigmentation and skin rejuvenation.
Upon successful completion of this course you will have a high level of both knowledge and practical competence in using Laser and IPL machines.
Radiofrequency/Plasma

The course also covers Health and Safety best practices suitable for Level 4 learners surrounding treatment and equipment maintenance.
Plasma devices are new to the market and this course aim to guide practitioners to deliver treatment in safe, hygienic standards and also to learn the basic principles of Plasma technology.
The pre requisite for both courses are Core of Knowledge in Radio frequency/ Plasma Technology.
Skin rejuvenation

The course on Fillers and Toxins is designed to train practitioners in both basic /advanced Botox and dermal filler treatments that are the most sought after within the aesthetics industry. We also offer training in PDO threads mainly for doctors and Nurse Practitioners.

LPA services: All work with lasers and optical sources (such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) systems) is subject to the Control of Artificial Optical Radiation at Work Regulations 2010 and other regulations made under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
In the healthcare sector, the regulation of Class 3B/4 lasers and IPL systems varies across the UK. In general, regulators look for evidence that users are following the guidance published by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). This guidance advises that users seek expert advice from a certificated Laser Protection Adviser (LPA).
Recognition of prior learning (RPL), prior learning assessment (PLA), or prior learning assessment and recognition (PLAR), describes a process used by regulatory bodies, to evaluate skills and knowledge acquired outside through a course of learning, for the purpose of recognizing competence against a given set of standards, competencies, or learning outcomes. RPL is only accepted for the clinical practice components of the qualifications.
